- Spybot Search and Destroy
Firewall
These programs
protect your computer
from viruses and
attacks that try
to infect your computer
directly, rather
than through an email
or other file.
- Zone Alarm Personal Firewall - At the bottom of the page, there is a link named "ZoneAlarm (free)".
Online Virus
Scanners
These
programs are not
full-time anti-virus
programs, they
only scan for & remove
viruses that may
be on your computer.
They do not offer
long-term protection.
Windows Updates
Keeping
your computer up-to-date
will help protect
you from viruses,
